1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the DevHub API website, documentation, and APIs made available to registered users.

By accessing or using the website or the APIs, the user fully agrees to these Terms.

2. Registration and account

In order to use the APIs, users must create an account and provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials and for all activities carried out through their account.

DevHub API reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of violation of these Terms or improper use of the service.

3. Authentication and API Access

Access to the APIs is provided through JWT-based authentication (Bearer Token) included in HTTP requests.

The JWT token is strictly personal and must be stored securely. Sharing it with third parties is strictly prohibited.

All requests made using a valid JWT token are considered to be performed by the user who owns the token.

4. Service and licenses

Currently, all APIs offered by the platform are free of charge. In the future, paid plans or service tiers may be introduced.

Any payments will be handled through external payment providers (for example Stripe or PayPal). Terms relating to paid services will be communicated separately.

5. Usage limits

Access to the APIs is subject to usage limits (rate limiting) or other technical restrictions designed to ensure platform stability and security, described on the dedicated page.

DevHub API reserves the right to modify such limits at any time to ensure proper operation of the service.

6. Acceptable use

Users agree to use the APIs in compliance with applicable laws and must not:

  • use the service for unlawful purposes
  • attempt to compromise the security of the system
  • send harmful or malicious content
  • interfere with the operation of the APIs or servers

In case of violations, DevHub API may suspend or revoke access to the service.

7. Service monitoring

API requests may be monitored and logged for security, technical diagnostics, and service improvement purposes.

Further information regarding the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The website, APIs, documentation, and all related content are the property of the DevHub API project owner and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Use of the service does not grant users any ownership rights over the infrastructure, APIs, or documentation.

9. Service availability

DevHub API aims to keep the service operational, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or absence of errors.

The service may be modified, suspended, or temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, DevHub API shall not be liable for any indirect damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from the use of the APIs.

11. Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Terms

DevHub API may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on the website and, if significant, communicated to users.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of the user's place of residence or domicile, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
